Account information

CardShow uses your 5Line account information, such as your name and email address, to sign you in and keep profiles, saves, follows, role mode, and access status connected across devices.

Activity and content

CardShow may keep submissions, business claims, listing corrections, reports, My Show Plan details, preferences, and public profile updates. Product interactions such as saves, follows, listing views, calls, directions, website visits, event interest, self-reported visit marks, and notification activity help operate and improve the service. A visit mark is voluntary and does not verify or store your location.

Location

If you allow location access, the CardShow app uses precise coordinates on your device to sort nearby shops and shows and place results on the map. For nearby Matches for You, CardShow rounds your location to two decimal places on your device before sending the coarse point. CardShow does not send or retain your precise coordinates. Our service providers may also process an approximate location from network information for security and operations.

Camera and notifications

Camera access is optional and is used on your device to scan CardShow QR codes; CardShow does not upload or retain the camera image. If you enable notifications, CardShow stores a device push token and notification preferences so it can deliver the alerts you request.

Purchases

Collector Plus and CardShow Pro purchases are processed by Apple. CardShow and RevenueCat receive purchase and entitlement information needed to unlock and restore access and understand subscription performance. CardShow does not receive or store your payment-card information.

Connected assistants

CardShow may let an outside assistant search public directory information without an account. If you connect your 5Line Account, the assistant may read your CardShow saves, follows, show plans and checklist items, attendance choices, followed-shop or seller activity, and shop-alert settings so it can answer account-specific questions. After you confirm an exact change, it may save or remove a show, follow or unfollow a shop, update a private show plan or item, set show attendance, or update a followed shop's CardShow alert preferences. The connection does not provide claims, subscriptions, payment data, admin tools, precise location history, or another collector's activity.

Optional HobbyWise Hunt List matching

With CardShow Collector Plus or Pro, you may connect a HobbyWise Hunt List from the same 5Line Account in CardShow Data & Apps. A free HobbyWise account can supply the list; HobbyWise Pro remains separate for advanced HobbyWise features. CardShow may receive unchecked Hunt List labels, collectible type, and limited identification details such as year, set, player, character, card number, sport, franchise, parallel, or variation. CardShow does not receive HobbyWise costs, values, profit, purchase history, notes, storage locations, photos, acquisitions, buyer information, or workspace identity. You may disconnect this access at any time.

Assistant providers and limited connection logs

Your assistant provider processes your prompts, account connection, and tool results under its own privacy terms. The 5Line Integration Gateway records the tool name, required permission, result status, duration, contract version, and a one-way shortened account reference for security and reliability. It does not log raw prompts, tool inputs, CardShow or HobbyWise results, access tokens, or passwords. These limited operational logs are retained for up to 30 days unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse, protect the service, or comply with law.

Business insights

A collector may explicitly opt in to share grouped CardShow interests, Want List terms, and connected HobbyWise Hunt List terms with a followed shop, seller, or promoter. An authorized CardShow Pro business sees a report only when enough people opt in. Connected HobbyWise terms require both the cross-app permission and that separate per-profile choice. We do not provide follower names, email addresses, individual lists, or individual search history in these reports.

Sharing and tracking

CardShow uses service providers for authentication, hosting, subscription verification, notifications, and product operations. CardShow does not sell personal information, use third-party advertising trackers, or share personal information for cross-app advertising.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and service data while your account is active and as reasonably needed for operations, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and moderation records. You can start permanent account deletion in the CardShow app under Settings, Delete Account, or by emailing support@cardshow.net if you cannot access the app. Processing is not immediate; support will email when it is complete or if identity confirmation is needed. Some limited records may be retained when legally required or needed to protect the service.

Your choices

You can change location, camera, and notification permissions in your device Settings; edit notification preferences in CardShow; manage Apple purchases through your Apple Account; and request access, correction, or deletion of your CardShow account data.
